About these terms

These terms apply when a business uses BarHouse. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of your business. BarHouse is provided by Barhouse Limited (“we”, “us”), based in Dublin, Ireland. You can contact us at info@barhouse.ie.

What BarHouse provides

BarHouse is a hospitality performance and control platform, available at app.barhouse.ie. It records waste, stock, deliveries, invoices, recipes and sales, and reports on cost, waste and margin for your venue.

Your account and your team

The person who opens the account is responsible for it and for every login created under it. Each member of your team should have their own login. Keep passwords private, and tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Fees

Fees are charged per venue, per month, at the price shown on our website or agreed with you in writing. Additional management profiles are charged on top of the base fee. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing what you pay.

Your data

Your venue’s data belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it only to provide BarHouse to you. We do not sell it. If you stop using BarHouse and ask us to, we will delete it. How we protect it is set out in the Security & data section of our website.

Information read by Ai

BarHouse uses Ai to read figures from the photos and documents you upload. To do this, those files are sent to our Ai provider for processing. Ai can make mistakes, which is why nothing it reads is saved until someone checks it. You are responsible for checking information before you save it.

Reports are for information

BarHouse provides reporting and record-keeping tools. It does not give financial, legal, tax or food-safety advice, and it does not make regulatory determinations for your venue. Its reports are only as accurate as the information entered into it.

Acceptable use

Use BarHouse only for your own business. Do not share logins outside it, upload anything unlawful, try to access other customers’ data, interfere with the service, or copy or reverse-engineer it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep BarHouse available and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may improve or change features, and we will tell you in advance about any change that significantly affects how you use it.

Ending the service

You can stop using BarHouse by telling us by email. Your subscription ends at the end of the current billing month and you will not be charged again. We may suspend or end an account if fees go unpaid or these terms are seriously broken, and we will tell you before we do.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute.
